My first blog

Let me start by saying that the purpose of this blog is tell stories that I can't fit into 140 characters. I am well aware of what the Bible says in James 3 vs 5 and 6: So it is with the tongue, small as it is, it can boast about great things. Just think how large a forest can be set on fire by a tiny flame! And the tongue is like a fire. The typed word has even more potential for damage. With this said, I:

• have no intention of insulting or exposing my family or friends
• hope to write things that have substance and wit
• may at times present a modified version of the truth in order to improve a story

I expect postings to the blog to be very erratic, and would not recommend that anyone add it to their favourites. For new postings I will use email or Twitter to inform people who might be interested in what I have to say.

Right now I have nothing to say, but a lot seems to happen in my life. Can I be disciplined enough to write any of it down?
